1. Patient and kind. Can see that he really tries his best to teach and answer all our questions.

Also. he shows us real life examples which make us connect the concept to the real world. Overall, I think he does a fantastic job and makes me want to learn more accounting in the future.

6. Dr Gefen is a patient and passionate professor. He goes the extra mile to produce lesson resources that are easy to follow and includes interesting graphics/ humor to lighten the atmosphere. He is encouraging and patient with queries, and pushes students to think critically through his questions.

11. Dr Gefen has made accounting lessons very enjoyable. He brings in a fresh perspective, partly due to his western background which offers a refreshing way in which classes are thought, a more interactive and lively class instead of the usual one way channel other classes typically are. I look forward to Dr gefens classes. Even after classes, hes very friendly and always offers a listening ear to those in need beyond academic matters. Fruthermore, he makes a good effort to summarise the material covered by sending a summary email which would include words of encouragement, which really helps in very stressful times. Overall, Gefen has made me really like accounting and broadened my perspective on it.

13. Dr. Gefen has greatly enhanced my understanding of accounting by breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical examples that connect theory to real–world business situations. Through his engaging lessons and step–by–step explanations, I developed stronger analytical and problem–solving skills, especially in interpreting financial statements and applying accounting principles accurately. He also provides detailed feedback on our work, which helps me identify mistakes and learn from them. What I appreciate most is how he creates a supportive and encouraging learning environment, he always welcomes questions, values every student’s input, and ensures that everyone keeps up with the lessons. His patience and approachable attitude make it easy to participate and seek guidance, which has built my confidence and deepened my interest in accounting.

15. Dr Gefen is very passionate about accounting. He attempts to make the long lessons engaging through the occasional inclusion of humor and he encourages students to participate in his lessons. His lesson resources are extremely detailed, and they provide clear explanations to difficult concepts. Dr Gefen is very patient to any form of questions, and he would ensure students fully understands the answers he provide. He also ensures we practice critical thinking through asking interesting conceptual questions during presentations / lessons.

FIN2704: Corporate Finance (Tutorial Instructor)

1. Caters his lesson contents based on feedback from students, encourages thinking and class participation. Keeps his lesson succinct and easy to digest

7. I love the summary he gives at the start of each class, his slides are useful and i like that he encourages us to think simply. He also makes things easier for us and provide us with as many practice as possible.
